Baby #2 on the way

We were so excited to find out that Carli is going to be a big sister! She has been talking about having a new baby in our house for months and we are so happy to not disappoint! I found out on Saturday January 23rd and shared the news with Nick. We decided not to tell Carli yet...obviously, I can't wait to tell her but know she will blab to everyone so I think we are going to wait a little longer. I am still trying to think of some special way to share the news with her.

I've been to the doctor to confirm the pregnancy and check that all my hormone levels are right where they should be. I am still waiting to schedule our first ultrasound. We have had a few short conversations about baby names and luckily we quickly agreed on a boys name. That was easy!


I am anxious to see if this pregnancy will be similar to my last. I really enjoyed being pregnant with Carli so I am looking forward to going down this road again.

I am so thankful that I documented my pregnancy with Carli and made book for her (and me) to look back on. I plan to track the progress with this baby the same way. Looking forward to each week as it comes!
